General Information

1. Booking

• Empowerment, teachings and guided meditations will be conducted in English. Cantonese and Mandarin translation will be provided. Please select the language when you make your booking.
• You will need to choose either in-person attendance or online attendance at the time of booking. You will not be able to book for both.
• Bookings can only be made online.
• A separate booking is required for each person attending the event (including children).
• Bookings cannot be transferred to another person.
• After you have made your booking, you will receive an email informing you the payment instruction. To secure your booking, you are required to make full payment within 7 days.
• Once full payment is received, you will receive a confirmation email confirming the details of your booking and payment.
• Booking deadline : 12 December 2023.

2. Arrival & Registration

• Registration will start at 5:00pm on 15 December.
• You are required to show your booking confirmation letter (either digital or printed) to gain access to the Festival site.   If you are unable to show this, you will be required to show either your passport or a National ID card. You will be given a Festival Pass upon registration.

3. Security

• All participants are required to wear a Festival Pass at all times. Please cooperate fully with this requirement for the sake of the safety and smooth running of the Festival. Festival Management cannot accept responsibility for any loss or damage to personal items. Please bring essential items only and carry valuables with you.

4. Photography

• Photography, video recording or audio recording are not permitted in the Meditation Hall.

5. Children

• Children of all ages must be under adult supervision at all times. Festival Management cannot take responsibility for the safety of children.
• Children under the age of 7 are required to stay at the back of the Meditation Hall with one of their parents / care takers during empowerment, teachings and guided mediations.
• Any children who attend empowerment, teachings and guided meditations are not permitted to play electronic games in the Meditation Hall.
• It is intended to offer some family activities during the breaktimes on Saturday 16 December and Sunday 17 December. All children participating must be accompanied by at least one of their parents / carer takers all times.

6. Other information

• Introduction on Friday 15 December will start at 8:00pm. There is an ordinary ferry leaving the Central Pier #6 to Mui Wo at 6:30pm. Journey time is around 1 hour and it takes around 20 minutes to walk from Mui Wo pier to the Festival site. • We accept HK$ cash, PayMe, Alipay and WeChat at the Festival Shop.

Terms and Conditions

1. Festival fee (no accommodation): Full payment is required when you do online booking. If you cancel your Festival booking on or before 8 December 2023, we will refund 75% of your full payment. No refund will be given if you cancel your Festival booking after 8 December 2023.
2. Festival & Accommodation fee: Full payment is required when you do online booking. If you cancel your accommodation booking on or before 25 November 2023, we will refund 75% of your full payment. No refund will be given if you cancel your accommodation booking after 25 November 2023 unless we are able to resell it.
3. With regard to twin, double and 4 people rooms, we will only handle cancellation of the whole room, we will not handle cancellation for an individual staying in the room.
4. Proceeds from this Festival and any non-refunded fees arising from cancellations will be donated to the NKT-IKBU International Temples Project.
